“Beautiful out today” my mother said as the lights in the sky began to fade into a pink blanket of clouds. It was
June and I felt everything rushing by so fast. “Well I guess it’s about time to go back inside...” my mother said as
she headed inside. As I lied back watching the sky become dimmer I began to wonder what life and death meant.
Is life the dawn and death the dusk in this world? I began pondering how life works out to be that way. After hours

Moon Lake ForgivenessI can see my reflection as the moon hits the ripples of the lake. The lily padsMoon Lake Forgiveness
are pushed by the ripples to the shore where I once was. The moon gives me a
sense of happiness and a light to look up to. I feel freed by this presence as I
gaze up to its wondrous haze. I can see why they call this “Moon Lake” The
redness of the lake has subsided now.
I wonder what will become of me now. Should I run away? Should I bask in
the moonlight forever? The lake gives off sounds of relief as I sit in the meadow
grass. My life feels like it could float aw
